Iain waiting in the church...
...with best man John next to him.
Ruth loves weddings!
The church looked spectacular with candles on every ledge.
Brian gets on with the official photographs.
Brian snapping away again, while the happy couple are showered with bubbles. Almost the opposite of standard confetti, these actually clean the church grounds!
The obligatory posed kiss for the cameras.
I told you she likes weddings - get used to seeing the smile!
Iain looks great with his bouquet and floral hat.
Unusually for Scotland in October, the sun shone on us as we walked back up from the church...
...towards Drumtochty castle.
In the sun it was warm and folk (can you spot Ruth and Doug?) enjoyed champage outside. Once the sun went in, everyone fled inside for warmth!
We were surrounded by beautiful autumnal colours.
Neil and Estelle pose for someone elses camera - I'm just stealing this shot!
The tables sparkled with candles and glass ware when we went through for dinner...
...and were named for the cities that Iain and Frankie have visited.
Photographers swarm for the cutting of the cake!
John relives the moment when he nearly punched out the minister before the ceremony. Accidentally of course.
Zoe can tell Andy is being silly even though she's behind him. Clearly she is as well suited to being his carer as Ruth is to being mine!
Still smiling!
Andy catches me by surprise while I'm concentrating on pouring the wine.
Ahhh, that's better!
Ruth isn't being left out on the photography front!
Ahh the fun I could have captioning this...
Ruth tells me what she thinks of me. Thanks darling. Not.
Some sort of cufflink show-and-tell going on here. Mind you, they were very splendid cufflinks Ewan...
Ruth is not interested in cufflinks however.
The speeches were all splendid, and at times very touching. I think the happy couple enjoyed them very much.
Iain has his few words....
...and succeeds in amusing Brian, who has snuck out from behind his camera for a few moments.
The bride can't resist adding a few words, to try to repair some of the damage done by the best man... Only joking, John's speech was funny and steered well clear of controversy!
Douglas is initially unimpressed at having a camera turned on him...
...but they both get the giggles after seeing the first shot!
A very elegant first dance...
...either well rehearsed or jsut inate talent - we'll never know!
Once the happy couple have lead the way, everyone else piles in!
Ali provides a variety of cheesy choons...
...for the strutting of funky stuff to.
Ali is very much a family friendly DJ...
...although you can't please everyone all of the time!
Andy decides to jump into my shot while I'm not looking. Hi Andy!
This is the stables where we stayed, just down from the castle.
When we went back to the stables last night we were looking for the top of these stairs, although I think it's probably for the best that in the dark we followed the road instead.
The morning after is grey and cloudy - a more typical October day. They were so lucky to get sunshine...
Yes, this definitely looks safer than the stairs in the dark!
I'm sure the bride will have been here for photos already, but I couldn't resist getting Ruth to pose.
She's not sure how safe the bridge is though!
A final snap of the wonderful autumnal colours before the rain starts sheeting down and we head home.
