Diving at St Abbs

Another day diving at St Abbs with Deep Blue Scuba

2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0000.jpg It must be love! Two anemones snuggle up.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0003.jpg Urchins - not my best shot of one but I'm still trying to figure out the new camera.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0005.jpg Wrasse. Big ones. Everywhere!
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0007.jpg Another differently coloured anemone.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0008.jpg Plumose anemone.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0009.jpg A nudibranch grazing the surface of some dead mens fingers.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0010.jpg Starfish, also grazing on dead mens fingers.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0011.jpg Brittlestars. Individually they are OK, but they sometimes cover the seabed in a moving mat of waving arms, which I find creepy.

2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0014.jpg A close-up of the centre of a brittlestar.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0015.jpg A solitary example of a different type of brittlestar.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0021.jpg Rocks covered in dead mens fingers stretch as far as the eye can see.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0022.jpg Another wee nudibranch - this one seems to be having a stretch.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0024.jpg Ruth, hovering perfectly as usual.
2008-09-20_St_Abbs_0025.jpg This wee sea scorpion is well camoflaged. The range of colours these guys can take on never ceases to amaze me.
