Diving at Dogfish Reef, Loch Fyne
Out with Divetech this weekend - thanks to all who organised and to Brian and Alison for letting me tag along with them. Oh, the stories I could tell. In the interests of friendship however, I will restrain myself!

My favourite photo of the trip, I think Sea Loch Anemones are so beautiful and delicate. This is the sort of view that I love diving for. It's just so magical and other-worldly.

The reef lived up to its name right from the start. One digfish hiding in a hole, with the tail of another lying over it!
Another dogfish lurking in a hole. Apparently they come here at this time of year to mate, but this one seems to be alone.
A little cluster standing proud on the edge of a rock. This is an artificial reef made with spoil from Furnace Quarry, so the rocks are unusually angular.
Sea Loch Anemone. Theme emerging? Surely not... It looks dark in these shots, but actually it was quite light at 27m - it's just the way I am setting up the flash that makes it look dark - I like the effect.

Another little cluster of life, you can see the tube for a peacock worm here but he wasn't coming out to play...
Some of these dogfish are about three feet long, and when disturbed they swim really close, mistaking the divers for shelter!
Starfish in shallower water.
A large spiny starfish.
Some old quarry related metalwork forms a home for these red sea-squirts.
Seaweed in the shallows, showing off the good visibility.
