Edinburgh Festival Fireworks Concert

Beethovens Symphony Number 7, with some fireworks. The end of the Festival for another year. It's good to be back in Edinburgh!!!

	Sitting waiting for the action to start.
	The castle, with the bandstand illuminated at its foot.
	Red makes the rock look like a volcano - oddly enough.
	Bright white rockets shoot skywards...
	...and burst. OK, I know that's what fireworks do, but if I don't write anything there will be a gap...
	These ones look like explosions in a sci-fi tv show.
	More spaceshipe lost to the empire forever!
	More fireworks.
	Flames errupting up the rock.
	Eerie red glow from the walls.
	These ones look like beautiful, ephemeral starfish. Or like fireworks.
	Did you know they used over 4 tons of fireworks?
	The cascade down the side of the rock was just spectacular.
	Over 100,000 fireworks were set off...
	...watched by about 250,000 people in the gradens and surrounding area.
	This is my favourite picture I think.
	It is the biggest annual fireworks concert in Europe.
	I've run out of facts to fill space and there are still two more pictures.
