As now appears to have become tradition, Ruth and I took a long (four day) weekend over the bank holiday weekend at the end of August to catch up with folk, drink beer and enjoy the tail end of the festival.
I love Edinburgh - we arrived at avout 11:30pm on Thursday evening, and still were able to go out for a beer, see a show, go for a few more beers and stagger home at 5am. A full night out having only arrived after closing time for English pubs!

First night in Edinburgh we went to see Late and Live.

Grand Challenge Boules - Ray follows, promising thumbs up from Caoimhe there.

Caoimhe goes last, and now I would tell you the score if I could remember. Suffice to say that winning wasn't the important part...

I don't know what Ray is doing, but he likes it and Ruth and Sandra are shocked. Really.
|
|
Hmmm, from shocked to sheepish, and Ray still looks like the cat that got the cream!!!
