It all started with a civilised lunch...
...Rev. Crabbe said grace...
...and a nice walk along the river bank.
Then we went to the pub for another swift pint...
...although the girls had to explain to the barstaff what a 'long vodka' was...
...and Linda found something to suck!
Alison discovered something sparkly but Lorraine wasn't impressed.
Then we went to buy some beer for the party and Linda ended up getting trolleyed early...
...though Doug doesn't look nearly as scared as he should!
Something funny happened...
What is that cricketer doing?
Steve got attacked by an alien!
Ian got lucky...
...but Doug got *REALLY* lucky!
They were still friends afterwards though!
Although Steve wasn't so sure...
...Linda found a placard which said it all!
Linda upset Alison - I forget how!
The girls fortunately stayed sober...
..but Lorraine didn't like the flash on the camera!
When we got back to the flat, we stole all the seats so the host didn't have one...
...but we did let him have a drink!
"Here is the nine o'clock news from the BBC"...
...clearly we were watching a different channel!
Lorraine made Pizza...
...to feed the hungry chicks back in the nest!
Although afterwards Steve had to do the Heimlich manuever on Linda...
...which made her hair stand on end ?!?!
She felt much better afterwards!
Linda was captivated by our game of "Taboo"
Doug saw it as an excuse to snuggle up to Lorraine...
...until the unfortunate incident where he inhaled the powder out of the timer!
In the absence of any interesting boys, cushions became the 'in thing'...
...Lorraine looks like the cushion is just passing entertainment...
...but Alison fell in love with hers...
...then just fell on hers to Doug's great pleasure...
...in fact both of them look like they're enjoying it!
Eventually even Doug started to get tired...
...and passed out.
Steve and Linda also started flagging...
...but they expressed their fatigue somewhet more subtly.
The following morning, Doug played Jenga by himself!
While the rest of us tried to work out whether we could face the world...
...tried to stop orselves from falling over...
...kept warm...
...and attempted to establish which way was up!
Once she'd worked out where up was, Linda was determined not to lose it!
